What is Nashvilleriders.com?
Nashvilleriders.com is a website dedicated to delivering and sharing news and information regarding motorcycling in and around the Nashville, TN area. It may also include news from the motorcycle industry as well so it will not necessarily be all local content. Nashvilleriders.com is run by volunteers who offer their time to provide this resource for their fellow riders.

Who pays for the site?
That would be me, the Editor. Please feel free to donate if you find this site useful. :) I pay for the domain registration and web hosting costs out of my pocket. You will find a "Donate" section on the right side of the home page if you would like to contribute.

Where does the content come from?
I have an excellent group of volunteers who are writing content with me for the site right now. You will find this content in the features, roads, and garage sections of the site. If you are interested in writing for Nashvilleriders.com send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to get in touch with me. The news will be a mixture of stories we write ourselves and news we receive via marketing materials and press releases from industry leaders. We also will provide links to articles on other sites that have motorcycling news where we think it would be of interest to riders in the area.

Why should I register?
Registering (which is free) will allow you to post in the forums and is also the first step in being able to contribute content to Nashvilleriders.com. Once you have registered you can request to become an author by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . As an author you will see new options in the user menu on the left of the page where you can submit news, weblinks, and such right from within your browser.

How come I can't post in the forums?
You will need to register (see above) in order to post in the forums. Registration is free and your information remains private.

Does it cost to register?
Nope, it's totally free.

Will you spam me?
Now way, we hate getting spam and would never do that to anyone we want to keep as a friend. We may send an occasional email to alert our registered members of site downtime and things like that.

Do you have an RSS feed?
Yes we do. When you arrive at the site, most modern web browsers that can identify RSS feeds available will show an icon indicating our feed. You can use this link: http://nashvilleriders.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1&format=feed&type=rss if you want to set up a feed manually.

How can I submit an article, pictures, etc?
Once you register and are setup as an author you will be able to submit content using the user menu on the left side of the screen. Once an administrator has reviewed and made any necessary edits to the content it may be published. Please note that word "may" there. We want to give everyone the chance to contribute, but we will try to keep content on target as well as keep it in good form.

Can I get paid for my writing?
At this point, no. Since we are running on my pocket and donations at this point, it's highly unlikely you'll get paid. I'm not getting paid for this either so don't feel bad. In the future, if the site starts turns a profit, then yes, contributing authors may receive some compensation. Note that word "may" again.

Can I volunteer to help with content / news / other?
Yes!! Please do. If you have a story, photos, news of any kind you feel belongs on Nashvilleriders.com do submit it. If you want to help with site maintainence such as forum moderation, email me ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and let me know. If you have some way of volunteering that would be classified as "other" let me know about that too!!

Can I advertise my business on Nashvilleriders.com?
Yes. If you are a local business that sells motorcycle related goods and/or services we'll be happy to have you. Please email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you are interested.
