They are called the Roughnecks, but they're the nicest guys you'll ever want to meet. You could call them a motorcycle gang, but they're more like a public service organization of motorcycle riders.

"We're a national club with chapters all over the country. We're mostly civil service personnel — law enforcement, military, firefighters," said Roughneck Sean Souza. "We try to help people out."

Saturday, the Roughnecks put their philanthropy to work, hosting a Polar Bear Poker Run to benefit Cara Roman, a local teenager who turned 18 this week amid a continuing battle with acute lymphocytic leukemia.
