chaintool If you haven't already received your sale catalog/flyer from Cycle Gear they've got a deal going on that you should really check out. Those of you out there with chains on your bikes (which is most of you) may find the Stockton Tool chain breaker and riveting set to be just what you need if you plan on replacing your chain anytime soon. In fact, at only $29.99, you could easily get your money back out of it on just one change. If you're really industrious you could rent it out to your friends for a few bucks a pop and have it start making money for you :).

I purchased my own chain breaking/riveting tool kit from RK last year and it is a very heavy duty setup and I paid 89.99 for it. This set seems very similar in weight to that kit although the the machining on the pieces is a bit less "fine" than the RK unit. Still, for the difference in price and the fact you get multiple pins and anvils (versus one of each from RK) it's a steal no matter how you slice it. Norm's got a bunch of these on the shelves (and on the floor I think) in the Madison store so head down there before they're all gone.

this was posted over on the FZ1 Forums as well. I have given a lot of thought to making an order for one of these so I can use what ever chain I want in the future. I prefer shaft drive and many of my bikes are but I have a few that are chain.
