nakamotoHRC Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto has said that if Dorna makes a standard ECU (electronic control unit) mandatory in MotoGP in the future then the firm is '99 percent’ certain to leave the series.

Which creates an interesting position. Regardless of your thoughts on standard ECUs, which are already used in championships up to and including Formula One in an effort to even out the field and give the series bosses some sort of control over things like hidden traction control systems, the showdown between Honda and Dorna is a hard one to call.
